Founding Product Manager / Dealer — Trading Products

About the role

Alesium is developing a new direction in trading technology.

For this direction, we are looking for a senior market practitioner to become its Founding Product Manager / Dealer. The role blends product leadership with first-hand understanding of trading, dealing, execution, risk and the daily workflows of serious market participants.

You will work directly with the founders, design and engineering from the earliest stage: helping decide which problems are worth solving, translating real market experience into product priorities, and testing whether a product is genuinely useful in practice.

What you will lead

• Turn real trading and dealing workflows into clear product priorities
• Define what a serious trading product must get right: information quality, decision support, execution awareness, risk and usability
• Work with product, design and engineering to turn observations into well-scoped product decisions
• Test new workflows, identify friction and edge cases, and explain their practical market impact
• Help establish the product’s early standards for customer value, market credibility and operational discipline
• Bring informed judgement to the roadmap without unnecessary process or hierarchy

Who we are looking for

• Five or more years of relevant hands-on experience as a trader, dealer, trading-product manager, risk or trading operations professional
• Strong practical knowledge of market structure, order execution, position management and risk discipline
• Experience using professional trading platforms and a clear view of where they help or fail the user
• Product judgement: you can move from a vague complaint to a specific workflow, its business impact and a realistic improvement
• The ability to explain decisions, trade-offs and limitations clearly to a cross-functional team
• Working English is required; Ukrainian or Russian language skills are strongly welcomed and considered an advantage.
• Availability for approximately 20 hours per week
• Reliable overlap with Cyprus working hours when working remotely

Location and work setup

Part-time · Remote or office in Cyprus

We welcome applications from candidates currently residing in Cyprus, another EU member state, or the United States.

The role can be performed remotely or from our office in Limassol, Cyprus. Both arrangements are considered. Remote team members should be able to maintain reliable overlap with Cyprus working hours.

For approved remote engagements, onboarding, contract administration and monthly payments may be handled through Deel, depending on the candidate’s country and agreed working model.
