This notice explains how Alesium handles personal data submitted for employment and contractor opportunities.
Who is responsible
Alesium Ltd, registration HE415578, at 1 Anastasiou Sioukri · Limassol · CY, is the controller of the personal data submitted through our application channels. To ask a privacy question or exercise a data-protection right, use our contact form and begin your message with “Candidate privacy”.
What we collect
We collect the information you provide, including contact details, location, professional profile and CV links, availability, work preferences, experience, application answers, and later correspondence. Please do not send account credentials, account numbers, unredacted financial statements, health information, or other unnecessary sensitive data.
Why we use it
We use applicant data to assess your application, communicate with you, organise interviews and paid assessments, make hiring decisions, and keep proportionate records of the process. The legal bases are steps taken at your request before entering a possible contract, our legitimate interests in running a fair and secure recruitment process, and legal obligations that may apply.
Who receives it
Access is limited to Alesium team members involved in the relevant hiring decision and service providers needed to receive and manage the application. Applications submitted on alesium.eu are transmitted through Web3Forms to our business email service; Web3Forms states that its servers are in the United States. Applications submitted through a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form are processed by LinkedIn and made available to Alesium in LinkedIn Campaign Manager. If a remote engagement progresses, Deel may receive onboarding information under a separate process and its own privacy terms; initial application data is not sent to Deel.
International processing
Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, those transfers must be covered by a recognised legal mechanism and appropriate safeguards. You may contact us to request information about the safeguards relevant to your application before submitting it.
How long we keep it
For an unsuccessful application, we intend to delete or anonymise the recruitment record within six months after the role closes, unless a longer period is required to establish or defend legal claims. We will ask separately before keeping an application for a future-role talent pool. Records for a successful candidate become part of the relevant employment or contractor file and follow the retention rules for that engagement.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to the Cyprus Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection .
